Welcome to Northern Pines and to Northern Minnesota!
Northern Pines Assembly Grounds is a Minnesota United Methodist Conference Camp and operates year round. We are situated on a 40 acre site on the east shore of Fish Hook Lake, in the woods and pines near Park Rapids in the area known as the heartland of northern Minnesota.
The heart of our program is the summer camp for children, youth, families and adults. But many other groups and individuals have also found a place for retreat at Northern Pines. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. Whatever the season or the reason Northern Pines is a beautiful place to be.
For many, Northern Pines is the place where they:

† deepened their faith,
† answered the call to ministry,
† stretched their horizons of hope.
We invite you to a tradition of gentle persuasiveness. The best way to understand the tradition is to sit quietly among the pines around the Fire Ring and listen to the silent testimony of others who have been here before. It's the kind of place that grows on you because of the experiences that happen here.
